“No of course you didn’t but you said it anyway. Just go Jeremy.” She said tiredly, casting her eyes away from him, not wanting to talk about it anymore.
“Fine.” He replied in frustration, getting up and heading towards the door but stopping once he got there and turning back around to face her. “You know what? No. I’m not going anywhere so you’re just going to have to listen. You are stubborn, a little insecure at times, too smart for your own good, a tiny bit naive, infuriating, the reason why I never seem to have any clothes left in my drawers, and downright a pain in the ass sometimes. But you are also so damn beautiful, kind, full of life, caring, one of the few who even understands me, the one who puts a smile on my face - hell you’re the reason why I’m happy, and I’d be damned if i didn’t say that even the smallest things you do turn me on. I love every single thing about you, the good and the bad, and nothing nor no one is ever going to change that.” His feet carrying him back closer to her as he spoke, never once taking his eyes off of her.
“Are you done yet?” She asked after a few moments of silence, a smile tugging at the corners of her lips.
“Not even close babe.” He replied, his hands moving to cup her ass as he picked her up, forcing her to wrap his legs around his waist.
“You drive me crazy, Jeremy Gilbert.” Her hands wrapping around his neck as she pressed her forehead against his. There was no denying that she was crazy about the guy - anyone could see that. Yet sometimes she pushed him away - the scars of her past coming into play at times with him. And he just pulled her right back in. “So handsome… are you gonna kiss me or not?” Her head tilting to the side as a smile played across her lips.
“No.” He joked before he lowered his lips to hers passionately, carrying her to his bed. If she didn’t believe his words entirely then at least his actions would put an end to that entirely.
